This is what you see of the houses in Beijing. This color. The house are set on a grid, w/ alleyways running between them.
The rickshaw rides were fun. And yes, this skinny little guy rode us all over Beijing!
Ok, look beside the door in the bottom photo. Do you see that beside the door is a carved stone block? That tells people what you do. So these people do something w/books or documents. If it is round or oval it means something else. Also, how wealthy you are depends on how many steps go up to your house.

I wish it was that way here, so my house would be flat and no steps to climb!
