I have packed Hattie's care package. Now, to try and get it sent. I think I'll wait on Harris to get home this afternoon so I can concentrate when I take it to ship.
I had a really great weekend. My best bud Leslie and & I took our older girls on a girls weekend. We were supposed to go to the 3 Doors Down concert at the beach but it was canceled. So we went to stay with my friend Margaret and we watched the Auburn game ( War Eagle y'all) and then watched Alabama play. After that the big girls(me, Leslie & Marg) sat in the hot tub and had margaritas!!!! Can you say relaxation???? It was THE life. Sunday we headed out for a great day of shopping. It was too much fun. We ate good but better yet, laughed a whole lot! I cannot say on here what all we laughed at, I might get in trouble! We had a blast.
We also got to see my friend Lou. She & her hubby have 4 kids. 2 older boys and 2 gorgeous girls from Guatemala. It was great to see those girls in person, they are just beautiful. It makes it harder to wait until HattieLou is here with us (they're all about the same age).
But, got home and Mac had busted his chin open at church last night. So we were up early and out the door to the Dr.'s office. We got him glued back together and are on the mend.
It was so good to get away, but reality has said... get your hiney in the laundry room and get busy!
