I am so excited that we have had our fingerprints done...... That has been one MAJOR hurdle and it is behind us. I keep asking our agency about why everything has to be done so quick. They told us that we cannot travel this year. Does God have a plan in mind to get this girl home before 2008 is over???? Good question. Maybe He'll answer us and give us the best Christmas gift ever!
Yesterday in B'ham we had lunch with good friend of Harris's that has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Let me tell you, there is no whining from this guy. He has the BEST attitude. It did me so much good to hear him talk about what's going on and how God is going to get him through this. It was amazing. There is a lot going on with this cancer. A year ago it may have been a death sentence. But they are making huge strides to win this battle. There are more drugs out there to fight this. Like I said, he has cancer and yet, he was the one that was sort of the cheerleader. Amazing is all I can say. So if you read this, just say a prayer for Pat. And when ever this is laid on your heart, pray for him. That's all he asks for.
